Introduction

These terms of service ("Terms") describe the conditions on which Kleats grants Users access to the Platform for using the Services via the Kleats website ("Platform"). By accessing the Platform and using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, as well as the Kleats Privacy Policy. You may not use the Services if you do not accept the Terms or are unable to be bound by the Terms.

Services

Kleats is a food pre-ordering platform operated at KL University ("Kleats", "we", "us", or "our") that enables Users to pre-order food from Partner Restaurants within the KL University campus. By using the Platform, Users can browse menus, place orders, and prepay for their food, ensuring a smoother dining experience at Partner Restaurants.

User Eligibility

To use the Kleats Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have an email address with the @kluniversity.in domain.

Account Creation and Security

You are required to create an account to use the Platform. During the registration process, you must provide accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and all activity under your account is your responsibility.

Payment and Fees

Kleats uses PhonePe as its payment gateway for processing transactions. By placing an order, you agree to pay the total amount indicated on the Platform, including any applicable service fees. All payments are final, and there are currently no refund policies in place.

Order Fulfillment and Delivery

Kleats connects Users with Partner Restaurants to pre-order food. Partner Restaurants are solely responsible for preparing and delivering the orders. Kleats is not liable for any issues related to order quality, incorrect orders, or delivery delays.

Rules of Use of the Website, Platform, and/or Services

While using the Platform(s) or Services, you agree to abide by the following restrictions and laws. We reserve the right to take appropriate action in the event of any breach of these rules:

Prohibited Activities:

• You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, disseminate, copy, exploit, or represent yourself as an agent or reseller of the Platform or Services.
• You agree not to misrepresent or impersonate others or upload, modify, or share any harmful content or false information, including content that infringes intellectual property rights, threatens national security, or causes harm to any individual or entity.
• You agree not to upload or transmit obscene, vulgar, defamatory, unlawful, or harmful content.
• You agree not to use the Platform for illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud or money laundering.
• You agree not to engage in actions that could harm the Platform, such as cyber-attacks, data breaches, or causing disruption to other users.
• You acknowledge that Kleats is the sole owner of intellectual property and proprietary information accessible via the Platform.

Legal Compliance:

You agree to comply with all applicable laws. You represent that you possess the legal right to enter into this agreement and use the Platform in accordance with these Terms.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. You will be notified of any changes, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activities.
